I was given Paul’s number with a recommendation for Clear-it recently when trying to find the right people to take on what for me was a very sensitive clearance. I had inherited a large house from my parents who had passed away, and needed someone I could trust, as I was not able to supervise. The idea of throwing out so many things that my parents had treasured over the years was a very painful one, as anyone in my position will understand. You don’t want just anyone going through personal effects. Once I had met Paul, I knew I wanted him to take on the job, so I prayed his quote would be the lowest and indeed it was – by quite a long chalk! I was impressed by Paul’s sensitivity and understanding of the situation and felt much lighter of heart, having met him, knowing that he would be taking care of things. Everything was done efficiently and carefully, and Paul sent me photos and videos of anything of value, both financially and sentimentally, to check what I wanted to keep or let go. From picking me up at the station when I came to show him the house to telling me the job was done, he was gentlemanly, sensitive and very kind. He kept me informed all the way through the process and completed the job to budget efficiently and cleanly. He and his team left the house spick and span. He also found some lost items I had asked to keep an eye out for. I am honestly so grateful to him and his team for taking on such a heavy load. It was indeed a mammoth task – it was a very big house jam-packed with fifty years of clutter. But the more important load he took off me was the grief attached to the process. I can’t thank you enough, Paul. It has been a joy to meet you and do business with you.
